Took part in a focus group last week, we sat around for 2 hours and talked about major issues. In the beginning we all sat around and introduced ourselves and said what our jobs were. One of the AA women held no job but did have 6 kids. I noticed she did not have a wedding ring but figured that might not be as prevalent in the poor community. A good bit of this thread reminds me of this woman.
Basically, she got paid for two hours where she contributed absolutely nothing because she had no idea that the issues we talked about were even issues. It made me kind of sad
