Cringe, for sure. Jobs with little or no productive accountability; if they ever served an axiom of productivity in the first place. More like cronyism and social engineering. Viability or real life merit be damned.

I don't necessarily disagree with what you're saying but usually politicians and government entities aren't talking about civil service employees when they claim to have created jobs.
Not sure why people think this thread is primarily about government workers.
