Do it. You can buy good clothes and layer up on cold winter days. Enjoy having four seasons, and all the great outdoor activities that come with it.

Yea, man. This is a no-brainer. I don't know when you plan on making this move, but if you get a chance, visit this summer. Wait until about July when it's 80 during the day. It's beautiful.
