Getting rid of my 03 Rancher 350. Which model should I re-power with the 420 Rancher or the 500 Foreman?

I hear the Rancher has more "power" than the Foreman.. IDK why if the Foreman is bigger....

Anyone have any thoughts

I think it may have to do with weight of a foreman vs a rancher. You get more seat room and its an overall bigger bike but not much more powerful imo. Their almost the same machine but the Rancher is a smaller mid sized chassis while the Foreman if a full sizes chassis.
The foreman has more load and tow capacity and larger 25" wheels.

I bought a brand new rancher in February. I don't know about the power difference but, it has all the power that I need. and, the clearance is phenominal on the new ones.

I have a rancher 420, we recently sold the Foreman 500. The rancher is way more fun to ride, nimble, fast, light in the mud. The foreman had more low end power and was better for work around the house.
The rancher fits my needs more than the foreman did, the power steering was pretty nice, but the 420 is so much lighter and steers easily without it.

I bought the 420 Rancher instead of the Foreman because of the size and weight of the Foreman.
Only thing I wished I would have gotten was the power steering. Riding through thick woods and having to maneuver in tight quarters is so much easier with power steering. Mine had a straight axle also and I never got into a situation where that was a problem.
I use mine for mudriding, trail riding, hauling firewood and pulling trees to the camp for firewood.

I had the Rancher then sold it and got a Rubicon.
Rubicon is a freaking beast.
