I always keep receipts and balance my account, so I would notice.
Just curious, but when you have to sign, and there's a place for a tip, do you always fill it in? I normally leave a cash tip, and I just leave it blank. I've been thinking of it as kind of an experiment.

I always fill it in. I don't think I've left a cash tip while paying for a meal with a debit since my incident happened, but if I did I would fill it out like I usually do with the numbers clearly written with little space between dollar sign and numbers to make any possible fraud much more noticeable.
I have friends that write their tips like they are tom cruise signing an autograph. That makes me tense up.
