A change has to happen. Regardless of your take on Aguillard, the damage that has been done and is continuing to be done is irreparable if the administration isn't changed. Personally, I think the climate of intimidation and manipulation that exists, coupled with the SACS issues and continued revelations of ridiculous handling of personnel issues is plenty to have him removed. The Churches within the convention will have to discontinue their funding of the school to get the Board of Trustees and LBC Executive Director to call the shot, though. Otherwise, the circus will continue. I graduated from LC in 1987 and my wife graduated in 1988. It is painful to watch the school we spent formative years at sink into the sewer.

I hope that the school can survive this. I think politics have entered into a religious arena and they don't mix too well. It's time to get the school back on the right road and that's serving the Lord.
