It's hard to have an entire team any year as stated. For example, OSU has had Sullinger and Thomas leave early the past couple of years. If those guys had been able to stay with Craft OSU would have been hard to stop. The non-big conference guys get all their guys for 4-5 years.
Obviously most of the big time programs have guys who leave early, but was using OSU as an example I know of of course.
I have said for years the tourney should be top 16, best 2 out of 3. This year you still have your mid-majors in the tourney then, with St. Louis, Wichita and Creighton, while the powers are likely still in. OSU wouldn't even have been in the tourney this year, but I would have been fine with that
