Serious question, did they give the atheist prof a fair shake? Like were there any thought-provoking arguments or was it just him getting flustered by the sharp christian student and guffawing and such?

They give the professor a fair shake and he brings up rebuttals to the students arguement. Unfortunately they make Kevin Sorbo so unlikeable that it does make his arguements seem pointless. Also Dean Cain's character is portrayed how many non believers think and he is a decent actor. There is some cheese factor in this movie but the acting is much better than the Sherwood Movies (Flywheel, Courageous, Facing The Giants and Fireproof) Also not a fan of the Duck Dynasty crew and felt the movie could have done without the cameo by Willie Robertson but I am sure it was an attempt to get DD fans into the theater.

The professor isn't even a real atheist. I think the premise is he's had some tragedy in his past, death of a loved one or something, that's made him angry/lose belief god. I'm sure the student will convince him, using no logical fallacies of course, that the tragedy was all part of gods plan and the professor will come to embrace "the truth" again.
