Yea right? Just happened to develop in seconds and on a missile range as well....very convenient
And how would you know. I'm sure you aren't briefed on shite they want no one to know about

Have you ever been to West Texas/Eastern New Mexico this time of year? Dust storm.

They suddenly erupt? I'm pretty damn sure the people in that area are well versed on dust storms. Yet those professionals are confused about this particular development?
Not sure what it is, but I'll lean towards the confusion of pros instead of your position at this point.

I have. In fact, I used to live in west Texas. Dust storms aren't unusual.
What is unusual is the radar showing the very moment this "dust storm" erupted near the trinity site.
Here's some advice...take a moment to watch the video in the link that I posted in the OP. Come back and tell me that the plume is a dust storm after you watch the video.

Conspiracy theorists have speculated that the plume-like cloud, which seems to appear out of nowhere, could have been kicked up by the explosion from an unreported weapons test.
Yes but the only problem with this sentence is the "conspiracy theorists" part.......its White Sands Missile Range.......they test weapons there!

Forgive my ignorance, but why is an explosion/plume coming from a missile testing site a mystery?

The mystery is the aftermath of the "explosion". The only type of explosion that would result is a plume that size is a nuclear explosion. Of course, that's not what the report is implying.
However, something significant caused a HUGE plume to billow up out of White Sands (of all places). A small explosion wouldn't have caused that significant of a plume.
Volcano? Perhaps. Device similar to nuclear device? Perhaps. Nuclear device? Certainly.

Highly doubt we're testing nukes. Unless we've figured out how to make them more powerful and cleaner. We know what the old ones do

You don't believe that we would attempt to develop a clean nuke? To me it makes sense to pursue that. We could nuke a country to oblivion and then move into that territory without fear of adverse health effects.

Not that I don't believe you...but how are you certain that an explosion didn't occur within the White Sands Missile Range? It happened in an area that very few personnel are allowed in. Plus, you know as well as myself that the White Sands Missile Range covers an extremely large area of land.
Serious question: Are you privy to all information related to testing that occurs within the White Sands Missile Range?
You don't have to be privy to much to know if a large explosion occurred. To create such a large plume would need a very large explosion. The White sands, Holloman and Alamogordo area are in the middle bowl/valley. That being said the sound would be heard for miles.
But to add to the "conspiracy", I asked a friend who works at the weather squadron. They're aware of the sudden dust storm and say it is suspected to have been caused by a microburst.
Posted on 3/20/14 at 1:32 pm to mizzoukills
Mr. I automatically believe in a conspiracy automatically doubts the guy who was in close enough proximity to have heard a massive explosion but didn't and the fact that no radiation was detected in said "plume".

I said I doubt we're test nukes UNLESS we've figured out how to them more powerful and cleaner....Reading comprehension bro

See, that's better information than the people who automatically believe that a test of some kind may have actually taken place at a test site of all places.
God forbit that someone may actually believe that an explosion of some type may have actually occurred at a missile range. That's just absurd!
Seriously, I appreciate you looking into it. A microburst is a believable explanation...far better than "oh, it's just a dust cloud".

Quit being a prick and a dumbass. I never said I believed it was an explosion. I simply posted the information on the OT because it is an interesting story, regardless of whether or not you agree.
I bet you didn't even watch the video. Just blindly knighting like the good knight you are.

Where is this in relation to that nuclear waste leak that was detected? Is there any possible way that they could be related?
Posted on 3/20/14 at 1:53 pm to mizzoukills
I did watch... And my first thought was "wow, that's a cool phenomenon. Nature sure is awesome!"
Not "The Government conspired to detonate an atmospheric nuclear device in clear violation of several international treaties and with blatant disregard of the radioactive fall out that proceeded to piss all over a population center and effectively managed to convince an air force base, the national weather service, the US Geological survey and thousands of civilians to all deny that the explosion took place"

Its very interesting. I doubt it is harmful though. The "storm" blew right over the air force base according to the video. They would have known the trajectory and would avoided anything harmful from blowing over the base I would assume.

It was just a dust storm.

The leak occurred near Carlsbad which is quite a ways south of White Sands.
This plume occurred very close to the first nuclear test site (ie. Trinity)
