I have gone through some rough patches the past few year but I like to think of life as a sine wave (for you engineers out there). If you're on a down swing (or a trough) know that an upswing (peak) is on the way. Any time I get down about something I know it won't take long for me to start feeling well again.

I also never want to ever have to get on any type of psychotropic pill. I hope to resolve all my issues on my own through meditation and focus.

I think the thing about society that has caused an increase in anxiety is just how much is going on at a given time. You can increase the processing power and hard drive space of a computer, but the human mind can rarely exceed certain limitations. Our brains are overloaded and it helps to meditate and relax to clear your mind when your thoughts won't stop.

Again, thanks for sharing. Glad you're in a good spot.
