PT did have 77 receptions last year, but there's no way on God's green Earth is he considered a "scat-back". Dude is getting old and slowing down (not that he was even fast to begin with).

A scat-back has extreme quickness and is very fast. I think quickness is more important than top end speed however. Pierre doesn't have a quick bone in his body.

**I appreciate what he has done for us in the past, but to get better, we should have moved on.

We love plays that got Sproles or Bush in a 1 on 1 matchup with a LB. We can not do that with Pierre. 0 chance. We now have nobody on the roster that can do that.

If we add someone that can? Then we are back to a muddled backfield with 4 RBs.
