Same. I was born in 90 and have no shame admitting that when I was much younger, the Ataris version was the first I heard of the song. I'm guessing I was 12. Today, I like them both in their own rights. Every time I'm heading east on I-10 towards Florida though, the Ataris version is getting played when I start smelling salt water.
