They are now saying is was pilot's cell that attempted a call.

Read that last night... His phone was the ONLY one that pinged the tower.
Pretty odd considering the pilots interviewed said that it is a major no-no for a pilot to have his phone on. Also weird being his phone is the ONLY one of 200+ that pinged the tower for a signal.
