Precisely.

Again, I'm really not trying to rag on LeBron, or anyone else for that matter. I just think there's more to it than "this guy's a freak athlete and has all the measurables and a will to win--no way he WOULDN'T be a star!" Just so much more to succeeding at the pro level in any sport than that. Most of it, stuff that us casual (and even the hardcore) fans never can and never will be able to see and/or appreciate.

But hey, if you can play, you can play. Some folks are just rare like that.

Agree. It's the work ethic, attitude, willing to spend that time away from family, the physical contact, business part and alot more. What some fans don't notice, if you don't have the mental part locked down then you won't succeed. I think LeBron's biggest to get down first will be, 1st and foremost that it's not basketball. You need to start from the bottom and work you're way up just like the rest of the team. You're not an automatic star from day one and still need to prove yourself.
