I appreciate our team leader's fire and his high expectations from his teammates. I think, though, the place for this kind of "encouragement" is better suited for the lockerroom, the dugout, and the practice field.

This. Reminds of when someone gives a "heartfelt" apology to someone over twitter allowing literally the entire world to see it.
