Where in Dacula are you looking at? A good portion of Hamilton Mill is considered Dacula and it's a very nice area. Overall not a bad area, Mall of Georgia is real close for your wife, Braves AAA team is real close, schools aren't bad, will depend if you are zoned for Dacula, Mountain View, or Mill Creek (that's if you have kids).
How often are you going to have to go to the Perimeter area? Realistically you are probably looking at an hour communte time during peak hours, not so much at off hours.
