A 1933 Levi's poster by Jo Mora:
This later became famous as an album cover:
I would love to have an original, but even ragged-out ones go for $800+

My parents buy Indian jewelry, but then again, they're hippies.

Some. I have a favorite piece that shows a squad of Confederate infantry under cover in some snowy urban terrain in Fredericksburg.
The point is down and the squad leader is communicating with his team for information, to square them away and direct return fire.
What strikes me about the piece is you could just as easily depict them as Union infantry, 101st or 82nd Airborne troopers in Normandy or Marines in Hue City or Ramadi by just changing the uniforms and leaving the buildings pretty much the same and eliminating the snow.
When I first saw that print, I remember wondering if the artist, Keith Rococo, had ever been in the Infantry.

I've also a favorite Remington which depicts a deep shite situation with a western flavor.

All nice stuff!
I don't want to leave the grandchildren just money. Art can be appreciated and enjoyed for years to come.

Nice painting, but by the CW, sabers were already obsolete. Most cavalrymen discarded them for an extra brace of pistols.
