You are only half right which makes you completely wrong.
Jarret Lee is not at all as "bad" as you think he was, and Jordan Jefferson was not nearly as good as HE thought he was.

Lee is a better bet character-wise too. The CFL won't tolerate breaking team rules etc. for long - and anything remotely like "thug behavior" at all.
My son lives in Vancouver and I told him yesterday about the news. Whilst he's more or less a casual CFL fan (a rabid soccer fan instead), he was really happy.
He's watched Lee play at Tiger Stadium when visiting here during the season, and remembers Lee as being an OK player with a quick release, which will work well in the CFL. Negative he saw was some indecision, but that comes with game exposure.
I hope to be in Vancouver during the CFL season this year - I'll definitely go watch.
