Do you feel a huge political shift coming in the 2014?

IF so, why and in which direction?

Mainstream media won't allow it.
The government/corporate relationship known as fascism won't allow a paradigm shift.
The spectrum for debate is intentionally limited. It will remain that way.

I want to believe it will shift, but I just don't trust politicians to do the right thing. Government may not grow as fast if Republicans take over the Senate, but it will still continue to grow.

Dems hold the Senate, RHINO's hold the House, Obama has a phone and a pen....rinse and repeat. Whats left of the country will be hanging by a thread in 2016 and Hillary will promise gold at the end of the rainbow....let them eat cake....

This.

How?
The two parties control the debate process, without fairness in that arena it's not possible for a third party to win.
The government will protect itself, like an organism. The two parties are one, they are the government, regardless of how much they pretend to be opposites.
Blood will have to be spilled for change to happen, and even with that the government is so fortified I don't think it could create change for the good, it would make it worse for the average person.
Or
A great amount of education and enlightenment from the masses, which is beyond unlikely.
The only way we change anything is if we withdrawal from the system on a large scale.
Increased bartering, growing your own food, making more things ourselves, get rid of credit cards, limit banking to the smallest branches. Stop consuming like crazy.
Stop feeding the machine, it's probably the only way.

I think in the next coming years, shite is going to hit the fan.
The WOD is slowly ending, and with that comes a detraction of power from the state.
I believe that Ron Paul's revolution within the Republican Party is alive and well, and that the movement will continue with the nomination of his son.
The public will get sick of the polarization of our leaders, and will get sick of the media portraying the false duality of American politics.
I am, however, a diehard optimist.

USSR...
I think we will fall apart much like they did.

I know this was posted on here, however when have we ever had this happen?
This seems to be a serious direction. When you have states like Georgia passing this with many more in line to do so, there is an issue.
How many times have we seen a state pass a law with the people behind the law over turned or the federal gov step in?

It's not the worst thing that there are believers, like you.
Enough believers and it might make a difference.
I just wonder if it's too late, even if someone capable of making real changes gets to office.
I think if we were to start moving in the right direction it would mean a great amount of pain. Just as a junkie who's used for too long can't just quit, there is a painful rehab process.
We're pumping 85 billion dollars a month into this system to keep it from dying. We are literally like a junkie who has to have a certain high dosage a day to keep it together.
The financial thing is a big deal, but there is also the physical infrastructure that has been built to satisfy this current consumer model. Everything was built to satisfy this system, find it really hard to imagine how we can dig out of the hole we are in.
As it is right now our economy is totally reliant on the rest of the world trading oil in dollars. It's the reason we're able to do quantitative easing. How can we be honest about trying to reduce oil usage when we are totally reliant on the worlds continue use of it. I just see a huge crash coming, whether it's in 3 years or 30, this thing is going down.

Some forests must burn in order to survive.
The change won't be easy, but it will come.

Passed by ignoramuses in just about every bumfrick redneck state. Yeah, that's a serious direction.

1- 34 states is all that is needed to ratify.
2- 42 states are on the move with this.
3- Please look at a political map of the state gov and tell me how much red do you see?
Then please throw in the 2014 election cycle. If you think that the dems are going to gain on the state level you have not been paying attention.
SO, it doesn't really matter if you like the bumfrick redneck states. Article V is there to protect them.

probably not, the dems will figure out a way to say that merely not voting for them is racist/sexist/homophobic/whatever and enough of the sheep will fall for ir
If there is any shift toward the Republicans they will be so cowed by the media that they won't do anything noteworthy.

Yeah this year I see the R's taking the Senate but as long as Obama and Biden are POTUS and VPOTUS nothing changes. In 2016, the Rand Paul pain train will be arriving at the station. All aboard next stop freedomtown USA. Freak Yeah
but the R's will probably nominate Christie then he loses to Hildoag and we all are freaked

Not going to happen. Racism and class warfare always wins out.
