Correct. That's what I am asking in my OP. The score says it was 4-1 final/5. It can't be a final in 5 if the score was 4-1.

Someone said in the another thread that in college the normal rule doesn't apply if the home team is losing. Makes absolutely no sense, but he usually knows what he is talking about.

Found this on the NCAA website. It's on page 4 in the link

SECTION 28— CALLED/FORFEITED GAMES AND NO CONTEST
a. If a regulation game is called, include the record of all individual and team actions up to the moment the game ends as specified in Rule 5-8-b.
A.R. 1—If the scoring during an incomplete inning has no bearing on the outcome of the contest, include all individual and team records.
