Gravity really is a monumental achievement. It bridged gaps, was a unique experience and was simply amazing. WoWS was just a great "American film." Not sure which way I go on this. Heck I even want to vote for Her.

Cuaron should walk away with Director, no matter what. There was no better representation of singular vision on film than Gravity. Maybe not even in the last 20 years. It would be criminal for him not to win.

In terms of the acting Oscars. MM, should win actor no doubt. Best Actress and Supporting Actress are just ugh...probably because I haven't seen Blue Jasmine. So I'll go with the predictions on this and assume Blanchett is better than the rest that i did see and I did not find worth.

Jonah Hill's performance was much like Joaquin Phoenix's in Gladiator...just made me feel dirty watching him. Which means he succeeded. Well done.
