That's a myth. I have two labs(they don't get chicken bones). We have a mutt show up at our house, she's ate at least 25 chickens, batteries, my flip flops. Dogs are tougher than you think.

Doesn't make it good for them

Cooking chicken causes the bone to splinter apart, which could obviously be bad as not all of the bone is digested before passed.

Oh I see so your one experience should be heeded and all the veterinarians who advise otherwise ignored?

Been thinking about getting a lab to play with the Great Dane. I know they are great hunting dogs but how are they as house pets?
