ve heard the 3 main winter targets are Tahoe/Reno, Denver, and Bozeman. I wonder how many ski World Cup events are done in Alaska.
I hope it's not Bozman, Tahoe, or Alaska. Keep the relatively undeveloped places undeveloped for a change. At least they're not talking about Jackson Hole.
Denver was supposed to have the 1976 Winter games, but there was a grassroots movement against the development of pristine mountain areas. "Rocky Mountain High" was in part written about the campaign against having the Olympics there.

After seeing the climit they put these games in, Charlotte should really consider hosting the Winter Games. Close to mountains, similar climit, and prolly would of given a lot more snow this year. Hell even Richmond or Roanoke could think about. Not sure how the mountainess areas compare, but all 3 of those cities are close to ski resorts. Or maybe even Charleston, WV. That can't be too far from Snowshoe which is decent size resort.
