It would be used far away from any urban areas. I have land about a mile back in the woods and then some property behind the levee. The land behind the levee has ponds that hold turtles, snakes, beavers, and nutrias. Even if I shot a 50cal back there no one would have rights to complain. Coyotes will be shot in crop fields away from civilization as well. For shooting around the house I have a 22lr already to keep the noise down.

If that's the case, you should be fine w/ a 22-250. Compared to the 223 Rem, when using comparable bullet wts, it'll add bout 300 fps to what the 223 will do.
