I never find fault with a woman packing extra/different clothes to be prepared.

But all the makeup and tools y'all bring floors me. Curling irons, flattening irons, lotions, conditioners, polishes, etc.
good lord it takes a lot to feel pretty.
But to my wife's credit, she always looks dazzling to me, so I don't mind carrying all her stuff.

Well you need to pack even more product if you are going someplace tropical with even more humidity. I bring my own hair dryer as well cause I don't like the crappy ones they have in hotels. I do try to bring travel sized stuff whenever possible.

I learned my lesson for next time I go to Costa Rica...PACK LIGHT. I will seriously be backpacking it next time I go there. Trying to roll a huge suitcase and rolley carry on case from place to place in rocky gravel roads was NOT fun. It was actually embarrassing when our shared shuttle would pick us up and everyone else had MUCH less luggage than us. I'm sure they saw us and thought "typical dumb American tourist"

My husband bitched about all I packed a good bit on our honeymoon
