Why would you ask this question when you know what kind of answers you're going to get?
Maybe one day someone will have something rational and concrete on ways he needs to improve besides "durrr he needs a time clock coach durrr". Still waiting...

I'm not saying CLM is a bad coach. I love him. He brought this program to national relevance winning a NC and having countless 10 win seasons. Time management is his biggest flaw. He hasn't has a CF like the days of ol'. BUT Clemson brought back memories. That's rough. Again second best running attack and you throw on 2nd and 2 and 3rd and 2.
I am simply saying that time management could be an issue this year with a very conservative gameplan.

I'm going to attempt to tackle this one without flaming..so hear me out.
First of all, I will agree that CLM is an excellent recruiter...that he is a "player's coach".....that he has put up impressive win totals...won a Naty...kept the program clean...won a couple of SEC titles....players want to play for him, etc...and I personally appreciate his efforts while he has been here.
These facts are indisputable.
However, there is a perception (fair or not) among many fans, negatigers if you will, that Miles' flaws outweigh his accomplishments. I've thought through the list of things I've heard people say over the years and here it is.
Now keep in mind, I don't agree with all of these notions, but I think it pretty well sums up what his detractors think of him:
Note: not all of these have to do with his coaching ability.
1. He wasn't the first choice when he was hired.
2. His record at Okie lite was marginal.
3. He won the Naty with Saban's talent.
4. He's let big time in-state recruits get away.
5. He engages in silly coach-speak instead of answering questions directly and making sense.
6. He's stuck in the Big-10 mentality...3 yds and a cloud of dust.
7. He doesn't adequately "coach up" players to their potential.
8. He's not ENOUGH of an azzhole with the players.
9. He plays favorites and doesn't stick with the hot hand at times.
10. Can't manage the clock and use timeouts effectively.
11. Doesn't prepare the team at times for big games.
12. Needs to instill discipline to limit penalties...particularly pre-snap types.
13. Loses inexplicably to inferior teams at times.
14. Malveto
15. Ruined 2011 by orchestrating 1/9.
16. Meddles too much on O instead of deferring to the coordinator.
17. Engages in wacky behavior on/off the field that makes him appear goofy.
18. Has lost key games to rivals that should have been wins (2013 OM...2012 Bama)
19. Hasn't kept up with Bama (this is silly)
19. Has somehow underachieved since 1/9.
20. Wasted chances to win the Naty since 2007.
21. Should not have kicked RP or TM off the team (yes some jackazz told me this )
22. Has started believing his own hype.
23. Only resting on his laurels.
24. Seems content to win 9/10 games a year.
25. Is stubborn beyond belief in making any kind of change.
Now....again, I didn't come up with these but have thought back and tried to remember every negative thing I've ever heard about the man. Some of these may be valid and others are total BS...I get that. None of these alleged shortcomings, taken by themselves would be a huge issue...but some folks feel taken collectively, they create a huge problem.
I'm not saying the man should be fired, because I do agree that the alternative could be much much worse. I'm simply trying to explain why many "negatigers" do not/will not ever like/forgive CLM.
