A general rule of thumb, dependent upon the product you're trying to sell.
Out of 10 sales calls, 3 will be mildly interested and out of those 3, 1 will be very interested that you will have the opportunity to do business with.

what business are you in? my rule of thumb is about 10%, but it really depends on what you're selling.
If you've done your job correctly at your current company (really locked them in), then it's extremely hard and painful for them to move just to follow you.
