Yea I looked at that, trying to avoid a monthly/yearly charge. Just buy a good external and then also use some of the free cloud stuff out there, AVG has one as well.

To each his own. You wouldn't imagine the amount of failed hard drives we see that were the only backup set. Personally, I like to just be able to set it up and not have to worry about it, especially for $10 a month. Just make sure you have multiple backup drives in case of failure and your most critical stuff online somewhere.
