Oh, I know. 90% was a bit of an exaggaration. They had several fantastic pop songs pre-Rubber Soul. But the majority of it is pretty forgettable for me, especially if you consider the endless amounts of blues/jazz artists of the time (late 50's/early 1960's through Rubber Soul) that were making music that was way more profound.
