I didn't do the mod with the grommet, but instead saw on the Virtual Bullet, someone used a cutting wheel and made a small notch where the lid comes down, it works really well.

Saw that one as well, Kingwood. I just felt more comfortable drilling a hole then freehanding a notch cut.
