08. Jurassic Park - Theme From Jurassic Park
07. Schindler's List - Main Theme
06. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial - Saying Goodbye
05. Jaws - Main Theme
04. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back - The Imperial March
03. Raiders of the Lost Ark - The Raiders March
02. Superman: The Movie - Main Theme
01. Star Wars - Main Titles

I would have the imperial march as the top but other than that you can have them in any order.

That wasn't Williams. That was James Horner.

As much as I love the Star Wars Theme and the Imperial March, I would have to go with Jaws.

While I won't argue against anyone's john Williams list, I would have to include the theme from The Cowboys (one theme in particular really set the tone for the Smallville music in Superman) and his very often forgotten score from Dracula in 1979 that receives very little attention because of its scarcity.

He reused the ideas from Home Alone for Harry Potter. I know Harry Potter was the bigger movie (maybe), but Home Alone should take its place for being first.

Using the same musical instruments for a single motif isn't the same as reusing an idea. And that's just on the main theme of both movies. The two soundtracks as a whole couldn't be more different.
Besides...I think Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was a better overall soundtrack than Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Give me the Olympic theme for number 1, love that song.
Oh, and WKUK's John Williams sketch was one of the best things I've ever seen. LINK

Jaws is absolutely number 1. It transcends film.

For me, it's gotta be Jaws #1; Raiders of the Lost Ark #2, Star Wars and Imperial March #3 (tied), Schindler's List #4, Jurassic Park #5, Superman #6, Harry Potter #7, Saving Private Ryan #8, Hook #9, E.T. #10. But then, I guess my rankings are because I like these.

Got to see Star Wars in concert, and the Imperial March is just stunning live.
