It is an interesting topic for a number of reasons, including but not limited to:
(1) Maybe gay rights is the last true frontier for civil rights in our society;
(2) Some argue the next frontier will be polygamy - which is interesting because the state that would most likely push such an agenda is a solid red state;
(3) Some argue it may be lowering the age of consent - interesting and taboo topic for reason;
(4) Some argue it may be reducing sex offender penalties because they "are born that way" - again a taboo topic for good reason.

The obvious point of the topic and thread is two-fold:
(1) I simply wonder what the next frontier is, and perhaps more importantly;
(2) Civil rights and civil rights abuses or claimed abuses have been used by both the left and right to rally the willing troops and divide the nation for political gain by politicians for years...I wonder how they will continue to use this political tool and willful idiots to push agendas?
