to the OP, no, I don't think its #1 unless Bama loses Scarbough. Would give no shits though.

To get the number 1 class according to the rankings, we'd basically have to get Lorenzo Carter, Adoree Jackson, Malachi Dupree, and Travonte Valentine, AND have Bo Scarbrough flip away from Alabama to Georgia or somebody else. Any one of those things individually could easily end up happening, but for them all to happen is an insane long shot.
Our class is already an elite class, and these recruiting rankings are biased and untrustworthy anyway, so I'm not going to sweat it that we're finishing 3rd or maybe 2nd. The recruiting class that's #1 on national signing day rarely pans out to be the #1 recruiting class 4 years later once you see what everyone is really made of on the field, so it's a silly thing to get worked up over.
