Bradshaw is underrated IMO
Bradshaw WAS underated...
He was not needed to WIN the game earlier in his career. Lets just look at what the Steelers did in the 70's....
1972 AFC title game. Loss to Miami.
1973 lost div round. Bradshaw handing off mostly at this point.
1974 Won SB. radshaw gae the ball to Franco like 38 times against MINN. The D was suffocating. Again Terry NOT asked to win the game. just not lose it.
1975 won SB over Dallas. Terry branches out a little more with some deep passes.
1976. They start 1-4 and then go on a 9 game winning streak with what I consider the BEST defensive performance in NFL history that year. they gave up just 138 points the whole year.. AFTER starting 1-4.. AMAZING. Lost to a great Raiders team on the road without Franco Harris and Rocky Blier...
1977 Lost to an upstart Denver team in Div round on the road.
1978 IMO their BEST team.. 14-2 and Terry blossomed into a deep throwing QB that made them even more deadly. Beat Dallas 35-31 in what I consider the best SB ever.
1979. Beat Rams in SB with Terry again using the deep ball to clinch a 4th sb in 6 years....
Overall The Steelers IMO had the best 9 year run in NFL history. NOW you can say its harder now to keep being great for a long period oof time with Free agency, BUT I counter with basically keeping the SAME team on a winning mode for that long of time...
YES Terry ended up being a GREAT QB... NOT stat drivin, just WIN driven....

Did you post all of that from memory, or did you look it up? If you did it from memory, props to you

I agree that his regular season stats weren't that impressive but it was a different matter in those four Super Bowls.
