First game was shite show and the Saints looked lost. I would give a lot of credit to the crowd on that one also, they were relentless and it showed.

The second game started out bad also but 309 yrds and a TD and 0 INTs is not a bad stat line against the best secondary in the league. I wouldn't say that was shutting Brees down is my point.
They held him in check for points of the game but that's not shutting someone down exactly

51% of his yards came in the last 5 minutes of the game and it started with that long pass that should have been intercepted.
