He'll let you know. I think mine was probably around 8 when he got "too old for kisses."
I'm lucky to still get a hug every now and then during the teenage years.
And, FWIW, my kid had the sweetest, chubbiest cheeks ever when he was a toddler. Couldn't resist planting those kisses back then. Nothing wrong with a little smooch on the mouth.

Off topic, but is it generational to set an arbitrary time frame on reducing physical affection?
