If you work in real estate or on city councils, you'll see this problem is slowly being corrected. Unfortunately we'll have more of these during the shakeup, but what needs to be done is being done, by the people, non violently.

Edit: the current administration is aware of what is happening, and trying to push legislation through to stop it. Won't work, opens up the libs communities as well. NIMBY, if you will.
