He isn't shy about his support of single payer systems. I'm running out of arguments against it at this point though.

I hope you're considering considering how the government has managed other government programs. Fundamentally when there is not market competition there is zero incentive to achieve at a higher level. We will end up with healthcare rationing just like in Canada and the best doctors outside the government healthcare system. Enjoy your ridiculously long waits for anything government officials determine to be elective. Bottom line: price fixing by any monopoly especially the government is never a good thing.

i'm curious how our government run social safety net systems compare globally. i know most have single payer universal health care but do they also have social security, medicare, medicaid, welfare etc (or something similar)?
