Manning could very well go down as the smartest QB ever to play in the NFL and the offense is just ridiculously talented. And Fox didnt really have much to do with that.
I don't know how, after watching the Saints last year anyone can discredit a head coach like you're doing right here.

well they did pretty well without him this season when he went down. Jack del Rio is a good defensive coach too though, and they had Manning.
I think the Tebow year was his best coaching job

What does Sean Payton coach? Offense. Without Payton, we were still #2 in total yards and #3 in points. Our offense did their job without Payton.
We went 7-9 last year without Payton because we were the worst D in the history of the NFL yardage wise. We gave up 1,000 more yards than the 31st ranked team did. Gave up the 31st most points in the NFL. Worst ranked D against the run, and 31st ranked D against the pass.
Payton has never been a defensive guy. Hes an offensive guy. Hell, the year without Payton we had more yards and ppg than we did with him this year. Not saying Payton isnt an awesome coach, because hes a great coach. But we didnt go 7-9 in 2012 because Payton wasnt there. We went 7-9 because of our defense, and Payton isnt a defensive coach.
And again, John Fox is a really good, potentially great coach. But I dont think he has had that much to do with the Broncos success this year.
