I've done both. After a few years at home, I was bored to death. I enjoy my job and missed it. The housework just isn't that satisfying to me. It's a thankless job.

Yeah I would consider going part time or work a couple shifts a month before I would ever completely stay at home.


But I'm very biased....watched my mom stay at home when I was a kid and be so dependent on my dad and swore I'd never be her.

We were so poor growing up, I would have honestly rather her work when I was a kid so we could have basics that many others took for granted(house with central a/c; health insurance; regular dental care as a kid, etc, etc).

And working is? Go back to work if you aren't happy. Plenty of women do both you know. If anyone has a right to complain it's them.
