Going to be in Vegas next week and thinking of stopping by, is it worth going?

I haven't, but I have a buddy who knows all about their shop.

Used to go to the old shop with my mom's ex husband. He would buy coin proofs every paycheck from the old man. Now it is just a tourist trap. They have tours to it for $89 right now...

Not worth it. Place is tiny... Don't know how they make it look so big and none of the people on the show will be there.

I'd be willing to bet someone, some where has been

Yeah I went back in April, it's actually really small. I'd wait to go later in the day because they usually have long lines in the morning and around lunch.

they don't even have battletoads, not worth it

I'm not really interested in seeing the folks from the show, just seeing some of the collectibles I've seen on tv

I like the toy shop over in the Neonopolis. That is the guy who does the toy "consulting" on the show.

I'm sure it's just like every other pawn shop.

Is what I've been told by my cousin that went.

My dumbass walked from Fremont street to that place at night. Never really felt unsafe but man there are a lot of homeless people in downtown Vegas.

It is a lot better than what it was in the 90's when I was there. Zappos is a big part of that resurgence. They are pushing for a lot of small businesses to come back there. The Mob Museum in the old post office is legit.

Broke sold them a watch one time, decent amount of attention on TD because of it.

That's what others have told me, going to check it out next time I'm in town.

really small, out of the way and has nothing but crap inside. I did see a couple of things I recognized like the hughes propeller. I was there a few years ago so it might not be there anymore.
the only cast member I saw was the old man. he's a big dude.
