Your lady will wear the wedding ring every day. Even if you get a nice bonus, raise, promotion, etc and can purchase additional jewelry....the wedding ring is every day.
She may not wear that 10k tennis bracket, the expensive rolex or the 5k ear rings every day.
The ring I purchased was a point in time transaction. I really did not think about future earning potential....and I should have done that.
