AMEX Blue Cash Preferred

6% on groceries
3% on gas

Certainly worth the $75 annual fee and they waived my first year and gave me $150 for signing up. I don't have a family to buy groceries for, nor spend hardly any on gas, and pulled $600 in rewards this year.

ETA: Post your email and I can refer you and get you the $150 and myself $50.

That was gonna be my suggestion

It's my best all around card but I put all my gas on my penfed card now since it gets 5% and is accepted at racetrac (Amex isn't)

Just reading up on the blue preferred at the amex website and it looks like walmart (groceries) and murphy (gas) aren't covered since they are superstores.

Bummer.
