Bert left in 1972. You missed a few QB's before Steve / David came along in 76-77

Mike Miley
Carl Otis Trimble
Pat Lyons

And Woodley didn't "ride" the bench. He was part of Cholly Mac's typical two-QB system with Ensminger.

And Steve was from Central. But close enough for government work.
