It's a little odd that none of them are messed up, or partially messed up. A lot of times it fries the main board (one with all the inputs) since it handles all the low voltage signals. It will travel down the coax line or HDMI.

I had mine blow out my TV main board (separate outlet) and my stereo receiver which was on a surge protector. Nothing else on surge protector went out, including PS3, Wii, DVR, etc.

May be a dumb question, but would best buy take it off my hands and give me a little store credit for a new one? I know they sell a lot of refurbished tv's, I just don't know the kind of shape the are in when they get there. Thanks guys
