OV/VRs at gas stations come next quarter could still be very much in play, so we lost just a little something, but I think it could be made up in other ways.
Yep. It can. Just not as easy as it was. Not a big deal for me right now since I've met my spending and won't get another card for 6 more months. Just glad I was able to do the 10k on the AA Exec card before.

I'm actually shocked it took this long for CVS to stop doing this. They are losing money after CC processing fees without a doubt.

Ya, that was the huge debate on FT. CVS cited "higher credit card processing fees" as their rationale for the change in the internal memo. Theory is they may have had a deal in place that expired, making it a no brainer, but whatever it was, it sucks for us. Definitely nice you got that Citi in before it was all over.

I'm still in a quiet period myself, though Southwest targeted me for their 50,000 point offer, which I may get for my cousin's wedding. These damn weddings are killing me.

You should start your VR business now

My issue is finding those variable load Vanilla Visa GCs that I can load $500 on. I can't find a retailer to do those, just the $200 ones at Office Supply.

I haven't seen this news. Actually, I bough a VR card with credit at the CVS by my neighborhood last Saturday.
