I went to Jazz Fest in 2002 to see the Counting Crows, but all I HEARD was SCI. We got to the stage early that day and I looked around seeing what I prematurely termed "CrowHeads." It turns out they were just wookies jamming to cheese. I wasn't able to get into the Saenger that weekend but I won't miss it this year (if they play).

The second night was with Hot Buttered Rum and Railroad Earth. I lean to the Bluegrass side of the jamband scene. I don't mind the jamtronica late night though.
