they had three of them on the island when the wife and I stayed back in 2008. You can take a bus to all the different ones on island FREE of charge to try the different restaurants (they all have different ones). Bring money at around 500 to 700$, I say this because everything is paid for already, the food, drinks all of it and you DO NOT tip unless you feel like it. Nobody sticks their hand out ever except for the cab driver/shuttle bus drivers they will ask for money even though the sandals shuttle is not really suppose to...they do, I usually throw them 5 bucks a ride as there will be other couples probably riding with you (they do load and unload your bags). The money you do have can be used to purchase things from the locals who Sandals will bring on to the grounds to sell stuff atleast one of the days you are there. Thats right they bring in the local vendors one day a week to sell stuff on grounds. The money I brought was basically just for emergency needs. I would not convert over to st lucian dollars except to be able to bring a few bucks of st lucian money home for a souvenir. BRING your credit cards and use the safe in the room. you will need this upon arrival and if you want to do any side stuff you will use them ex: spa, volcano catamaran sail (that was worth it) Peton beer is great by the way! Drink a Miami if you want a fruity drink or for the wife. No pressure no problem will become an annoying saying, but just go with it. Snorkeling was fun, and the breakfast buffet is awesome. We stayed at the Regency. Upon check in ask them if they have any free upgraded sweets...I know that sounds tacky, but they will upgrade you for free 60% of the time. This usually means bigger room and better location. I have stayed in the white house in Jamaica, St Lucia was waaaay better.

also meet other couples and make friends it is easy to do as everybody is in a great mood because EVERYONE will be newly weds. The evening boat ride is fun watch out for the beer chugging contest (i won) you will still want to make your dinner date that night :) also I no longer do this but if you are offered ganja be careful who you smoke with there is a tendency to get people high and then try and sell you everything under the sun. The stuff they smoke doesnt look like prime ses. but it will hit you HARD (dont be fooled by the way it looks). Also the late night grill is awesome, and usually they have some crazy person working it, they usually are loud and rude in a funny way I just rolled with it and got along with everybody. One more side note DO NOT bring any locals back to your room (you would be surprised how many times I saw this). Also, they will try and get you to go off site with them and interestingly enough the couples did return the next morning I always looked , but I would always advise against it when you are responsible for protecting your wife. When I was young and single I would pack back away from resorts, in fact I would frown on resorts (truth is didnt have money back then) do not do this, these places are beautiful and very dangerous. Stay on the path if you know what I mean. Oh yeah the security works with the locals, anotherwords as long as you are grounds they dont care what you do, but dont be loud about stuff if you know what I mean and yes the local gy that walks the beach on the resort is selling ganja just so you know. I sound like a pot advocate, which I am not, but I am just letting you in on how it works.

Oh one more thing you can eat as many dinners as you want, another words you do not have to go eat dinner and thats it for the night, you will have to tell them your name upon arrival but that means nothing as far as $ is concerned anotherwords if you eat at 6 have a couple and decided you want to eat again, go eat no extra charge. I ate two dinners a night and would go some where else for dessert lol...The dinners are small, but ok.

I thought it was a good gesture to tip a lil bit for good service at all inclusives. Since the workers there are not paid as much as you may think.

I just feel like a total cheap arse loser if someone is bringing me drink after drink after drink while I'm lounging on the beach and I don't tip them anything for it. Maybe that is just me.
