it's not really a fair comparison. Schools like Allen and Southlake are twice the size of most Houston area schools. They also recruit like mofos. More prospects come from Houston but there are better teams in DFW. Both are pretty talent rich though and LSU has a decent presence in both cities

LSU and a lot better following in Houston than Dallas...Also Dallas is a football town, Houston is very strong in Baseball, hence 11/12 last state titles... There are a lot more athletic directors down here that are not football coaches where as in Dallas almost all AD's are the Head football coach. Houston has massive High Schools, Im in Katy, in West Houston, alot of our athletes just arent playing anymore, they are doing other things like X-game stuff.(I saw a 6'5 230lb kid riding skateboards and wearing skinny jeans and not playing football or basketball... The culture is shifting in Houston, kids are just weird... where as Dallas the suburb kids are still normal..
