We have a 3 year old daughter. As for a DNR for my wife, no we don't have one. I never thought I would say it, but I'm starting to believe we need one.

If you were are in a desperate situation you might want to try DCA. It may or may not work. It reduced tumor size for my Dad with stage 4 lung cancer. He took no other treatment as it wasn't an option.
This isn't junk science there are some studies that confirm it's effectiveness.
Good luck either way.
